My journey as a designer is marked not only by artistic prowess but also by leadership and collaboration. For nearly two decades, I've had the privilege of working with a wide array of clients, including notable names like the Chamber of Commerce, Madison Metropolitan School District, and Logitech. These experiences have allowed me to traverse various realms of design, from crafting simple yet effective business cards to developing fully functional e-commerce websites. My entrepreneurial vision is deeply rooted in the ability to understand and adapt to the specific requirements of each project, ensuring that every design resonates with its intended audience.
Whether I'm working with educational institutions, corporations, or tech giants, my approach is consistent: to listen, to innovate, and to lead. My journey is a testament to the power of artistry, leadership, and the seamless fusion of the two in creating compelling and effective visual solutions.
USER-CENTERED DESIGN
My career has been defined by a strong emphasis on user-centered design, spanning web and app development. As the lead designer for UW-Madison's Continuing Studies website redesign, I had the privilege of reimagining an online platform with a focus on user experience. This project involved extensive preliminary studies and the incorporation of valuable insights from focus groups, resulting in a more efficient and user-friendly website.
Similarly, I tackled the challenge of enhancing the efficiency of Wolf's GUI control panels. Again, my approach revolved around in-depth research, embracing the voices of the end-users through meticulous studies and focus groups. These insights shaped the redesign and resulted in control panels that were not only visually appealing but also highly functional.
Beyond websites and control panels, I've also delved into app design, creating user-friendly interfaces that prioritize both aesthetics and usability. In fact, the very website you're on now was also designed by me, keeping user-centered principles at the forefront to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all visitors. My career's dedication to user-centered design reflects my commitment to creating digital solutions that are intuitive, engaging, and responsive to the needs and expectations of the end-users.
MULTIMEDIA SAVVY
My ability to craft visually stunning and strategically effective campaigns has been a key driver in increasing company revenue. One notable success was the campaign for the UW-Madison Odyssey Project's Gala, where my designs were not just well received but played a pivotal role in raising an astounding $250,000 in a single night. These designs resonated with the audience, encouraging them to support a noble cause and make generous donations.
Similarly, I created an annual graduation program for the UW-Madison Odyssey Project that went beyond being a mere booklet. It was a journey, inviting attendees to delve through its pages and explore the personal triumphant stories of the students in their quest to reach their educational goals. This immersive design wasn't just a program; it was a catalyst for change, inspiring individuals to contribute to the program's success.
At the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I was entrusted with a challenging task - to increase the enrollment of the Summer Term class by 10% compared to the previous year. Not only did our team achieve this seemingly daunting goal, but the trend-setting design we implemented also led to a remarkable 10% increase in enrollment for three consecutive years. This achievement was not only a testament to my design skills but also the ability to connect with the audience and drive results that exceeded expectations.
EDUCATOR & MENTOR
My journey as a High School Digital Media Instructor and Art Teacher was immensely rewarding. I forged strong connections with my students, fostering an inclusive and creative learning environment. My greatest satisfaction came from making complex concepts clear and accessible, allowing my students to develop real-world skills within just two semesters.
I encouraged critical thinking about media messages and their societal impact, empowering students to see beyond the surface and become thoughtful media creators. By nurturing creativity and experimentation in digital media projects, I provided a platform for my students to explore and express their unique ideas.
In addition, I had the privilege of guiding students from kindergarten to eighth-grade through general art projects. I cherished every moment of sharing my passion for art and design, helping students discover their own creative potential.

With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and more than 15 years of hands-on experience, I have honed my skills in creating exceptional visual content across a broad spectrum. I am dedicated to perfection in every project, from the meticulous design of digital and print ads to the intricate work of LED control panels. My keen attention to detail and artistic innovation shines through in all my creations, ensuring that each piece I produce is a masterpiece in its own right. Whether it's digital media, print materials, or user interfaces, I consistently strive for excellence, delivering designs that captivate and inspire.
